NEW TO BADMINTON?

Fast, clever, social and seriously addictive. The shuttle can fly at you, then suddenly fall softly just over the net. You do not need any previous experience to enjoy your first session.

This is what badminton actually looks like at our club

WHY PEOPLE LOVE IT

## A sport for your body, brain and adrenaline

It is easy to start, but there is always another level to learn. That is what keeps badminton fun for years.

### Fast

A rally can switch from defence to attack to the net in a second.

### Smart

Power is not enough. You read your opponent and solve a new problem on every shot.

### Social

Singles, doubles, training and games. The court makes it easy to meet people.

### Quick to start

Even in a first session you can return the shuttle, build a rally and feel progress.

IN 20 SECONDS

## So how do you actually play?

Hit the shuttle over the net and try to make it land inside your opponent’s court.

### The idea is simple: get the shuttle over and make it land on the other side

Every rally is worth one point. If the shuttle lands in your opponent’s court, they hit out, or they fail to get it over the net, you win the point.

- A standard game goes to 15
- Every rally scores a point
- Play singles or doubles
- Every rally starts with a serve
